About Me

I spent many years in the Canadian sub-Arctic and during that time I travelled across the Canadian Shield from the Arctic Ocean to James and Hudson Bays. Inspired by the vast beauty of this landscape, and all it provides, I began to hand craft jewellery and accessories from natural materials. Materials are ethically and, where possible, sustainably sourced. atelierNorth is always mindful of the origin of materials and strives to use everything with no or minimal waste. da:masks by atelierNORTH was born in response to the global pandemic of 2020 and my desire to help my community by providing affordable, re-useable non-medical face coverings.
