Debbie Derbach started Krafty Retirement in 2018 following her Career at Scotia Bank. She began by selling felt Scandinavian Gnomes. These collectibles were marketed at several Christmas markets in Ottawa and the Ottawa valley. New for 2019 Debbie has added a variety of small felt and fabric collectible animals. Also new is a series of hanging wood calendars for tracking family birthdays and other celebration events. Also for 2019, Krafty Retirement has been joined by her husband Bernie, a retired RCAF officer. Bernie is adding a number of hand-crafted wood products which include charcuterie boards, rolling pins, cocktail muddlers, Scottish spurtles, and garden dibblers. He also has his owner Wood Cream and Wax finishes for sale. Throughout the year new items will be added to the inventory by both Debbie and Bernie.
