As a proud supporter of any product that can help me reduce waste in my household, I discovered reusable paper towels. I was frustrated by the high cost of them so I decided to start making them myself. After sharing my handmade no-paper towels with friends and family and seeing how much they enjoyed them, I was motivated to share my love for reusables with others. My goal is to keep costs low and make reusables affordable to everyone all while giving back to the environment.
I am an elementary french teacher in Ottawa, ON. As a teacher, I have seen how many paper towels are thrown in the garbage every day in my classroom alone. In October of 2019, I challenged my students to join me in becoming a paper towel free classroom. We haven’t used one paper towel since. We need to teach future generations that even a small change can make a difference. For every 10 sets of no-paper towels sold, a set of 5 will be donated to a classroom in Ottawa. Let reusables become the future everywhere!
Yes! Throw them in with your regular load of laundry, no need to wash them separately.
They are 1 ply 100% cotton flannel fabric. They become more absorbant the more they are used.
My cloth wipes are 6 by 8 inches and my no-paper towels are 9 by 11 inches (perfect size to be rolled up on a paper towel roll).
